how many times can the ‘human league’ re-release ‘dare’?
this is the third time at least..(20th anniversary)..and
also onto the obscure sacd (super audio cd format)…

]]> By: autodidactic https://accozzaglia.ca/livejournal/celebrating-poverty-when-nothing-works-obstacles-every-other-hopes-an-obstacle/#comment-1058 Fri, 07 Feb 2003 09:06:47 +0000 https://accozzaglia.ca/uncategorized/celebrating-poverty-when-nothing-works-obstacles-every-other-hopes-an-obstacle/#comment-1058 for the first time since i got here in October, i’m finally able to begin paying off my beyond past-due bills that simply couldn’t be paid for before now. i simply had no money, no income, no new work, nothing. the worst isn’t over, but i eliminated four of seven outstanding debts this week. too bad that i’ll never, ever, ever have good credit standing in my lifetime, no matter what i do. guess that’s the reward one gets for a) having opportunity denied and economic sustinence retracted because of being different, and b) never getting the chance to learn about finance, the credit system and investing as a kid. i never had a chance, and in the realm of the Experians and the TRWs, there are never second chances.

Don’t you know it, girl. I’ll save a seat for you here in the poorhouse. It ain’t so bad. You can see the sunset from here.

I was wondering how you were. Glad you’re around. Hope things get better for you soon.

p.s. Thirty’s kind of an anti-climax. You begin to feel like an aging wunderkind. Don’t despair; Raymond Chandler didn’t publish his first book until he was forty-something.
