you realise how excellent this is, right? i might end up at u-dub if i decide that the hassle of skooling east and living west is too great. to have you in the same area would be truly choice, and i know that will be thrilled by the news. and when comes to hang in emerald city, i suspect we're going to all be causing a lot of trouble.

Yay! I am so moving there, too. I hope. Kelly's settled. She said I could stay with her while I get my life together. Traci gave me her address and phone number. When I get home from Middle of Nowhere, NY sometime tomorrow, I'll finish my application to the University of Washington.

speaking of, i gave her a sealed japanese pressing of prefab sprout's "steve mcqueen" on disc last weekend (and if anyone wonders where this lj pic hails from, well, it's from that photo shoot).

yeah. we'll raid scarecrow and stock up on the bullitt-man's back-catalogue for a night of great escapes, thomas crown affairs and careening green grand prixs from parking garage ramps while sipping some elysian IPAs from the bottle and eating cocktail shrimp and gourmet corn chips and salsa.

sounds deliciously fun, eh?

[p.s. -- i called toronto "emerald city" first, when i saw its skyline from across lake ontario. and to me, it still feels more like oz, even if skedaddle is a lot more lush.]

i'll miss you, too, which is why you're going to come and visit us and stay on holiday at our place. and if rainier blows and it takes us down? then i'll die a happy girl.

but then again, at about sixty miles away, i'm not too worried about that. if anything, it'll be the earthquakes you should worry about most.
