$60 is steep, agreed, and if i weren’t working, i might not indulge. however, along with george michael, jamiroquai and a few select others (i’ve already seen new order and the psb), erasure are one of those groups who have meant a lot to me through most of my life and they are on the must must must see list. since they could well break up soon, i figure this could be my last shot. also, while not incredibly intimate, the paramount is a gorgeous, 3,000-ish facility and will be a wonderful place to see them.

plus, BECAUSE it’s not expressly a nostalgia tour, i’m expecting a good, varied playist, probably very old and very new alike.

1. $60 is pretty steep, unless it’s in an intimate venue setting.

2. without salaried income, it’s more money than i have to be spending when more pressing matters take centre stage.

3. i’d wanna see New Order, Electronic or Pet Shop Boys or a Propaganda reunion tour before wanting to see Andy and Vince play a lot of unfamiliar (read: since 1994) stuff or make it an entire comeback tour full of old standards, a la watching the remaining Doobie Brothers at the arena in the mid-1990s.
