i caught something from somewhere. maybe stress wore me down right when an otherwise weak bug found its way to me. as soon as i left you, i could feel the shivers kicking in, and by the time we got home, i was freezing cold and looking for refuge under the covers, while trying to nurse my achy body.

i knew i felt off while me were hanging out, though. my natural rhythms in conversation were entirely absent. i didn’t pay close enough attention to this or else i would have said something.

it’s just that i get sick so infrequently that i never know how to assess when i’m coming down with something awful. fortunately, while i’m weak from whatever it was, i’m feeling a little better.

it was good to finally hang out with you. i’d like to do so again. maybe something music-related next time or something. *smile*
