Oh no, I'm so sorry that your back pain wasn't just some freak thing induced by sitting reclining in my bed watching films. :(
I'm still gonna cross my fingers that it's not as serious as you're thinking!

Also, did someone say something disparaging, sexist, or homophobic to you? Want me to go beat 'em up fer ya? :D
Seriously though --and I know how impossible it is for people like you and I to accept and internalize anything resembling a compliment, but I'm gonna say it anyway-- you are a great person and have no reason whatsoever to feel "ugly" or "socially repulsive". Honestly, and to further prove my point, my friend Phil said to me several times how awesome he thought you were and that he hopes you'll come out with us more often. I think you're a beautiful person inside and out. I'm not actually all that trusting, for example, there are probably only a dozen people in the world who know the full story regarding my ex, but I trust you because I know that you're not an asshole. And, seriously, considering how rare that none-asshole quality is, having it makes you a pretty special person.

Lemme know what news from the clinic regarding your back.
