and one last question tonight.
can anyone help me break this lock in my head regarding a-ha’s “The Sun Never Shone That Day”: whyyyy does the rhythm section (both percussion and bass backbeat, along with the break in percussion for the bridge) sound so much like some song in my MIH library? why is it that the closest i can get to it so far is St. Etienne’s “Nothing Can Stop Us” and EBTG’s “Missing”?
(which is apt, since i’m missing something crucial here.)
