round two:

alibee: i have a vivid imagination. most are permutations — humourous, sarcastic or both — of legit names. the one you wondered about in particular carries a little imagery on my end and sentiment shared by many around here. to answer your second question, 47°56’490″N at 122°15’594″W.

sport6449: so long as as both parties are consensual adults and the recipient of one’s desire doesn’t end up feeling like tokenised or objectified (after all, a good heart is hard to find, and that’s what counts most), then there really isn’t a problem with it.

ariesgirlie: oooh. tough one. i’ll have to think about that for a moment.

to the first part, i wish i could say something keen like the New Order “Run(2)” 12″ (of which there are reportedly 75 in existence), but i don’t have that (though i know two people who do). it would probably have to be a tie between my Pet Shop Boys “Behaviour” Japanese CD box set and my Prefab Sprout 7″ self-financed copy of “Lions In My Own Garden (Exit Someone)”. the former is featured with high-quality picture disc art, 24-page colour book with photos and lyrics in both English and Japanese, a 3″ CD single with the only way one can hear the nine-minute version of “This Must Be The Place I Waited Years To Leave” and a bilingual lyric sheet for the 3″ CD single. and this copy (my first one was stolen in 1996) is a special promo release, which in Japanese circles allegedly makes it “rarer”. i had to find the replacement on eBay in 1999.

the other was on Candle Records, the self-financed label for Prefab Sprout. they allegedly printed a thousand copies before Kitchenware signed them (with CBS distribution) and reissued the 7″ on that label. only a scant few exist today. mine is in mint condition, and it came from another avid collector who owned three (cos he was made of money and all).

for part two? ummm, well, let’s see here. i used to have some blackmailish stuff that’s been long gone for at least a decade, so those don’t count. *evil grin* but i still own a copy of the Kevin Paige eponymous CD debut from 1989, containing his hyper-cheesy hits “Anything I Want” and “Don’t Shut Me Out”. anything else that reeked of bad was dumped from my library (along with then-replacable good stuff) in 1996 when i needed money for food.
