changing my academic plans.
before getting my double-baccalaureate in Women’s Studies and Anthropology, i think i’m going to get an A.A. in Puget Sound Transit Schedule Philosophy first.
it just took me nearly two hours to map out my timepoints and tranfers for going to the U-Dub from Neverett tomorrow. and even so, i get to start the trip by taking a two-mile walk to the bus stop, arriving at my destination about three hours later, employing three separate, independent (read: they don’t cooperate with each other’s scheduling) transit services.
this is unquestionably the most efficient, rapid mass transit system i’ve ever used for a metropolitan area of this size. MTA, TTC, CTA, MetroTransit and the Underground don’t even come close.
