idea attack.
while glazing at this contract i’m writing up, the late-afternoon sun squeaked through the clouds, distant trees and red leaves just outside the window while “The Sun Never Shone That Day” came up in the queue. suddenly, i conceptualised an idea for a music video to complement this song, even though it’s very much going on four years old. if i ever directed and produced a video for this song, it’d be my first foray into filmmaking, and i guess i’d learn so, so much about the creative process in that medium.
the cool part? i completely devised the scenes as all taking place within a two hour radius of Seattle, from places like Discovery Park, Aurora Avenue, downtown, Snoqualmie Pass, Queen Anne, Federal Way and a closing in Ballard.
i’m so insane, that once i’m relocated and able-footed to live on my own again, i might just do it.
