one more last thought.
earlier in the late summertime, i sent out for a few university catalogues for the wishful thinking hope that i might actually one day attend a baccalaureate university program. on that day, i concentrated on examining a number of women’s college options, including Smith, Vassar, Mount Holyoke, Bryn Mawr and Mills, among others.
today, after all but forgetting about that day, i got a thick catalogue in the post from Barnard College. all i could think was how i’m from Planet Yehrite or something. wishful thinking be damned, there simply ain’t no way i could ever get in, even though i’d ace the most stringent school out there once i’m in there, so long as i’d be in my course study of choice. anthropology with a minor in women’s studies, basically.
