this is the last time you will *ever* hear from me again.

in 2002, that is.

it’s the last palindrome year that most of us will ever get to experience, you know.

but, ummm, yeah. if that topic threw you off-guard, then that means you were actually paying attention. is this what your childhood teachers used to say about you?

i bet not.

lastly — or until i write something incendiary tomorrow, at least — i think that i invented a new genre of cuisine: pinch food. as in, “this meal will do in a pinch.”

what i ate tonight was certainly pinch food, and while it wasn’t pretty, it did me just enough to keep me tied this evening: Tasty Bite® chana masala (meal ready-to-eat), mixed with leftover calrose rice (no, it’s not basmati, but getting a hold of svairini tonight to get the ratios and times for making it in the nuke ‘n’ puke wasn’t time-conducive), lowfat yoghurt and a little cumin. oh, and some Trader Joe’s handmade tortillas, which come nowhere close to any naan or roti that’s entered my mouth.

and, ummm, for future reference, i’ll stick to Ashoka or MTR brand next time. Tasty Bite is far from inspiring.

like i said, pinch food. i should trademark this before one of you LJ plebes takes the idea and runs with it.

*grin*

“the magic force of your feelings.”

and with that, i bid you all adieu.
